"...The holiday was truly an amazing experience. Like many other people I have adventure stories when I was younger, and you never think you will be in that situation yourself, even less when you are disabled. The Epic Enabled provided a real opportunity to experience a sense of adventure..."

About Us

Safari Overland vehicle in Namibia EPIC EXPEDITIONS has been running since 1992 as an overland company. We have seen very few "Enabled" travellers enjoying the wide range of Southern African pleasures as an "overlander". Being aware that there are many “Enabled” people who are willing and able to push the boundaries of their disabilities and wish to experience the same sense of adventure and thrill which "overlanding" has to offer - the concept of EPIC ENABLED was born in 2001.

Disabled travel Organisation "Wielewaal" at the Blyde River Canyon in South Africa
EPIC ENABLED
combines the spirit of adventure which the “overland” traveller enjoys - that is to expect the unexpected - and at the same time travelling in a highly planned and carefully structured way. This “Enables the Disabled” traveller to enjoy an “expedition of a lifetime” tour. Teamwork is an important factor in helping to create a caring and understanding atmosphere for all our travelers, whether physically challenged or no t..

EPIC ENABLED AIMS to promote the knowledge and awareness of, not only Southern Africa, but also the leisure interests available to the handicapped travelers on tour by:
* Offering affordable opportunities to experience the African Wildlife and Cultures.
* Offering specially designed adventure opportunities to specifically suit the disabled traveler whilst on Camping Safari.
* Conducting the tours in a comfortable, accessible and safe environment.
