We
accompanied Caroline on a wonderful holiday with
Alfie to the Kruger National Park and a Private
Game Reserve.
Caroline (formerly a teacher of science) has had
MS for many years but told us that she wanted
to have the experience of seeing, hearing, smelling
and even touching the African wildlife at first
hand.
All of this was made possible for her and ourselves.
The fact that she, and others who were with us,
had to use wheelchairs, in no way detracted from
the joy of being there.
Everything was well planned, assistance was available
whenever it was needed and the excitement we felt
at the time will never be forgotten. We are so
grateful to have had the privilege of travelling
in Alfie's vehicle and of listening to his explanations
of what we witnessed.
