You
are helping an underprivileged South African
by simply booking one of our tours! How
does it work?
When you book - we support. |
We have identified an area
on our tour namely Acornhoek in Timbavati Township
to help the underprivileged disabled community.
Of every Kruger safari booking we donate €10
(Euro) to supply them with disability aids.
We do this while having lunch at the Shangaan
cultural village where we work in conjunction
with Axon (photo on the right).
On
the 10 September we were able to give "Israel"
a much needed wheelchair.
He had an accident falling of scaffolding 10
years ago in Malmesbury near Cape Town. Consequently
he became a tetraplegic and is now living back
home in Hoedspruit, just outside the Kruger
National Park.
His wheelchair broke 2 years ago and his only
way of transport for the last 2 years was a
wheelbarrow. We not only gave him a wheelchair
but also independency! The donated wheelchair
made a major difference in his life.
You are also welcome to make donations to support
our local community programme.
